This policy explains how VroomScan uses cookies on the website and similar technologies such as SDKs and device identifiers in the app.
1What we use
- Strictly necessary: keep you signed in, remember language and units, and enforce plan limits. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: show us which features are used so we can improve them.
- Advertising: show and measure ads on the Free plan. Never active for Pro subscribers.
2Ads in the app
Free and guest users see a banner at the bottom of some screens and a full-screen ad when leaving a result. Ads are never shown in front of a safety verdict. Our ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier if you allow it.
3Your choices
On iOS you can allow or deny tracking when asked, and change it in Settings > Privacy > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings. On the website you can change non-essential cookies through the consent banner.
VroomScan Pro removes all ads and advertising identifiers from the app.
4Third parties
Analytics and advertising providers we work with have their own privacy policies. We only work with providers that meet GDPR and KVKK requirements. App data itself is stored on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany.
